Baking Together
Have on hand: a simple recipe you both like, and the ingredients for it. Nothing fancy, whatever's easy to pull together.

Frozen Treats
Have on hand: ice block moulds or small cups, popsicle sticks, and whatever juice, yoghurt, or fruit you'd like to freeze. Needs a few hours in the freezer before it's ready.
Chalk It Up
Have on hand: a box of chalk. That's it — just make sure the driveway or path is clear beforehand.
Rock Painting
Have on hand: a handful of smooth rocks (collected ahead of time or bought), paint, and brushes. A clear varnish afterwards helps them last outside.

Have on hand: pizza bases or dough, sauce, cheese, and a few toppings laid out so everyone can build their own.

Have on hand: a bee-friendly seedling, seed packet, or potted herb (lavender, thyme, and borage are easy ones), plus a spot to plant it.
